I had a client visit my wood shop at the sawmill to get ideas for a really special dining table with matching wood slab benches. They initially thought a lightwood color like blonde Maple or Desert Ash would be appropriate but then they saw a really figured pair of local reclaimed Black Acacia and instantly were drawn to them despite being a much different look and color than the original goal.
When they saw some of my past resin river tables with large geodes, gemstones & mineral rock we started down the path of finding the right color and pattern combo to compliment the wood slabs and their home. Ultimately Kambaba Jasper and Red Jasper combo were chosen which will coordinate perfectly in the space which has a view of Red Mountain in Mesa.
