This rare exotic California Buckeye Burl live edge headboard wall art measuring 50x77x3 is the crown jewel of my slab collection, polished to 1k and finished in a white wax ceruse oil hardwax.

The backside of the slab has LED backlighting setup to run either with standard 2 prong wall plug or a rechargeable battery pack with a swich and recharge port accessible from the center hole. The 12v power supply, battery, and wiring are inlayed flush into backside of the slab, along with steel support cleats reinforcing fragile areas.
 
The piece mounts to the wall using aluminum Z cleats rated at 300lbs each. Buckeye is very soft wood so for added reinforcements the aluminum wall cleats are fastened to Eucalyptus hardwood cleats with over 20 screws into the buckeye and 6 1/4x20 x1.5" threaded inserts per cleat that go deep into both the hardwood and softwood.
